(since i dont know your name) nice work on your dtmf dialer. I’m doing a project and I want to use dtmf tones to control a helicopter. My phone can play the tones on the homescreen but I need a j2me app that can do that I can use for the heli- Something that’ll play the corresponding tone of any particular key you press momentarily. Similar to your application but instead I’ll use the picture of a keypad as the app background to match the keypad keys. Please is there a way I can edit your application to achieve this? Its the closest app around to what I need. [I have very little knowledge of programming- really, only C because i’m not a software guy (only mechanical things)] Thank you.

The microphone capsule in the telephone may be changed with a replacement capsule. The door telephones from Siedle with a transmitter made in black plastik should fix the noise/signal level problem. You may even trim the ringer to operate well by giving it a little oil on the hings. Then you may consider to put in a resistor in series of the ringer, 2200ohms should be OK. You get a weaker ring, but current enough to handle 1 more telephone.

Its “done”, well there needs a lot of adjusting and fixing, but I’m able to route/mill stuff in wood.

There are some images at http://rotand.dk/zen/cnc-build

Some day (soon?) I’ll probably write something about the process.

Det lyder spændende med at lave en reprap, du/i kan evt sende en epost til jtp SNABELA cs PUNKTUM au

We’re a little group (near Copenhagen) who want’s to build our own RepRap, so I was just looking for someone else in Denmark with some sort of experience.

I am happy to hear that you use and like it.
It does indeed sound like a small and very useful change. I’m quite busy at the moment but I will look at it as soon as I get some spare time.

or even better Idea if you can improve it as one of the settings, so the user can define what modifications he want to do with the number. etc…

Thank you very much for your time and effort.
Eli
